4 Reasons Dental Assistants Are Paid So Well

1.

There is a serious nationwide shortage of Dental Assistants, and Dental Assistants must find and hire Dental Assistants ASAP to keep their businesses running.

2.

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Dental Assistants is expected to grow significantly from 2019 to 2029, faster than the average for any other career.

3.

The median Dental Assistant salary in Ohio was $43,440 in 2021 and is still rising.

4.

Top 10 percent of Dental Assistants earn more than $60,200.

Dental Assistants with an education from an accredited school tend to earn more than others.

When weighing job opportunities, a Dental Assistant should also take into consideration health insurance, retirement plans, vacation time, compensation for continuing education and growth opportunities. These all play an important role in earning potential.
