Many times, we get emails asking how to sign up. After someone has done their research on different dental assisting schools in the area and narrowed it down to ours, they are ready to get started. Signing up is actually pretty easy. We are here to walk you through the steps of how to get registered.
Once you have determined that our school is the best fit for your needs, the next step is securing your spot for our next course available. We typically have around 7 students per class, so our classes do tend to fill up pretty quickly. The most we can take at this time is 9. When a student emails us to inquire about our program, we send them 3 packets in return. Our course catalog with all of our policies and procedures, our enrollment agreement and our Ebook which tells a lot about what sets our program apart from other schools near us. Once you have read everything over, all you need to do to register is fill out and sign the enrollment agreement acknowledging you have gone over everything and are ready to sign up. You can take a photo of the completed enrollment agreement with your phone and email it, or you can mail, fax or scan it in and email it to us. As long as we receive it and it is legible, we can create a folder for you and get you registered.
The next step is making your first payment. You will need to pay the registration fee of $125 and books/supplies fee of $150 totaling $275.00. You can pay by check, money order or credit card. We take payments over the phone and can email you your receipt once your payment is made. After your first payment is made, we will email you a scrub voucher to go to the Uniform Store and get your scrubs. In the meantime, you need to be gathering your Hepatitis B records or have a titer done to show you are immune. You may also need to repeat the series or start them if you have never had them done before. This protects you while working in the dental field.
After all of these steps are completed, you can just sit back and relax until class starts. You will want to prepare yourself for classes each Saturday and studying throughout the week. On the first day of class, we will have a binder with all of your notes and power points and your textbook. We will start with orientation on our first day then dive right into our first lecture. We are excited for each student’s journey in our program and look forward to meeting them! Email us today to take a virtual tour of our school and learn more about all we have to offer!
