We know we have competition and that there are several dental assisting schools in the area to choose from. The burning question is why choose us? What makes us different? We are here to tell you why we think our dental assisting program sets us apart from others.
We offer small class sizes which students LOVE since they get more one on one attention. Our classes are held in a real dental office where 2 of our instructor’s work. This means if you need extra help with something you are struggling with, we are always here to help. This is a huge advantage.
We also offer low tuition costs. This is super important to us because student loans are at an all-time high! We believe a skilled trade like dental assisting should be under $5,000. This is why our tuition is $3995.00. This doesn’t include books and supplies and your registration fee, but those add on an extra $275 which we thought was super doable. This means there are no hidden costs and you get your scrubs and all materials needed throughout the entire course for $4270.00.
Upon graduation not only will you be radiology and CPR certified, but we will also prepare you to take your state board exam to become a Certified Dental Assistant. Why is this a big deal? Because employers want their assistants certified so they can take even more certifications to be able to do more in the office. It also means they retained the information learned in their program to pass their exam and have the skills needed to be a wonderful assistant. Different types of certifications you can get include dental sealants (placed on children to help prevent cavities), coronal polishing, nitrous oxide monitoring and more! From a dentist’s perspective, the more their assistant can do the better.
Our program also requires a 50-hour externship/internship. This means you will get real-world experience/observation before you finish the program. Obviously, when you are first learning everything, it is at a slower pace so taking part in the externship allows you to see several days as a dental assistant in real life. We encourage observing at different specialty offices as well to see what type of office you see yourself working.
CADA also help with job placement! We have so many dental offices reaching out to us asking us for good assistants. There are so many jobs out there right now it’s crazy. That’s a good thing though. It means you can find a job when you graduate, or before! One of our students found a job during week 10 of our program. She had three interviews and two job offers. She is so happy and loving her office she chose.
We want to make our students as successful as possible. Our instructors are the best of the best and super passionate about the dental field. We are here to help you! Contact us today if you have any questions or if you’re interested in our program.
